On-campus marrow registry drive
led to life-saving gift by student
The “Be the Match” bone-marrow registration drives at Texas State continue to produce results.
As donor Clayton Rippstein, a 2009 graduate, described it in this video, “it’s one of the greatest ways one human can help another.”
Rippstein was inspired to register by one of his professors, Dr. Lawrence Estaville, a cancer survivor who leads the Texas State CAMCO (Campus Advocacy Movement for Colleges and Outreach).
