Being a college student, you are either on Twitter or at least feel like you need to be. Students join Twitter for a variety of reasons: news, humor, or just general narcissism. But before you define yourself in 140 characters or less, it’s important to know why you’re logging on.

Spotlight: Master of Social Work Program

Texas State online master’s program ranked among top 5 nationally

The Master of Social Work online program at Texas State University-San Marcos recently was recognized as one of the best in the nation. According to The Best Colleges, Texas State’s MSW online program ranks fifth in the country.

“Due to the vast quality disparity that exists in the online education arena, we’re committed to highlighting online programs that display the highest standards of quality and credibility,” says Jeremy Alder, a representative of the awarding agency. He adds that the Texas State program has improved the stature of online education by “providing students with a truly excellent distance learning opportunity.” Continue reading
