Study abroad to cross the bridge
to a life-changing experience

Isn’t it funny how one plane ticket and a very important document called a “visa” can change your whole world? A 12-hour trip across the Atlantic Ocean brought me to a very different culture. My home country was behind me and I entered a new part of my life.
I am fortunate to be in an international exchange program this semester at Texas State University. I am from the Netherlands, a small country with 17 million inhabitants located in northwestern Europe. I’m studying European Studies and majoring in International Business. My experience so far at Texas State has been nothing but good. Continue reading

at Study Abroad Fair

Ever dreamed of skipping town for several months to chase adventure in some exotic corner of the world? Next week, all Bobcats will have the opportunity to learn how to do so — through studying abroad.
The Study Abroad Fair helps students find opportunities to study, research, work and travel outside the United States.
The annual Texas State Study Abroad Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, in the Quad. Representatives from the Texas State Study Abroad Office and other programs will provide information and answer questions for those interested in studying, teaching, working and researching outside the United States.
