Geography student spends summer
working in national forests

Angelika Fuller, who will be a senior at Texas State this fall, is spending her summer as an intern with the Student Conservation Association. She is working on projects in the George Washington and Jefferson national forests in Virginia.

Fuller is majoring in geography and also is in the honors program. The topic of her honors thesis: humanitarian aid on the U.S./Mexico border.

And after graduation in May? She says she plans to ride her bicycle from Texas to Canada and back, then pursue a master’s degree.
