Texas State Faces: Bobcats in baseball

Texas State players excelling
in minors, summer league

Around the country and around Texas, Bobcats are having a good summer on the diamonds. Here are stats for both former Texas State players in the minor leagues and current student-athletes playing in the Texas Collegiate League.

Professional


Paul Goldschmidt leads the Class A California League in home runs and doubles and is second in RBI.

Matt Miller is tied for third in the Pacific Coast League in batting average and has the most hits (124).

Collegiate


In the Texas Collegiate League, Brian Borski leads the league in wins, and Joe Dvorsky is tied for second. Dvorsky also pitched the first nine-inning no-hitter in league history earlier this season.
