Texas State Facilities revises
schedule for electrical outages

Facilities at Texas State University has posted a revised schedule of electrical outages, which must take place for maintenance purposes.

Here’s the schedule:

Aug. 17-18
7-9:30 p.m.: Sabinal Building
9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.: Pedernales and Pecos
12:30- 3 a.m.: Trinity Building
3-5:30 a.m.: Music Building

Aug. 18-19
7-9:30 p.m.: Colorado Building
9:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.: Agriculture Building
12:30-4:30 a.m.: Old Boiler Plant; Fire Pump; Medina

Aug. 19-20
7-9:30 p.m.: Physical Plant
9:30-12:30 a.m.: Freeman Aquatic
12:30-3 a.m.: Aqua Sports and Hill House
3-5:30 a.m.: Hines

Aug. 20-21
7-9:30 p.m.: Education Building and ASB Den (Kitchen)
12:30-3 a.m.: Lampasas
3-5:30 a.m.: Flowers Hall

Aug. 22
1-3:30 a.m.: JCK and East Chill Plant

Aug. 31
6-7 a.m.: During this one-hour time slot, the buildings listed below (in no certain order) will have a three-second outage as we switch the loads to the alternate feeder:
Aqua Sports
ASB Den (Kitchen)
Colorado Building
East Chill Plant
Flowers Hall
Freeman Aquatic
Hill House
Old Boiler Plant
Fire Pump
Physical Plant

Another notice will be sent later announcing the dates, time periods and specific buildings affected by the final round of outages. This maintenance work on the feeders will be completed by the first week in September.

Facilities apologizes for any inconveniences these electrical outages may cause. Building occupants are encouraged to contact Mike Krouse at 245.9171, or Dennis Taylor at 245.2145, with any questions, or concerns, regarding these outages.
