The Philosophy Dialogue Series, a project of the Texas State University Department of Philosophy, resumes next week with the theme of “Justice: Doing the Right Thing.”

 

The series brings together speakers from around campus and around the nation for discussions of the issues of the day. It is held in the Dialogue Room, room 132 of the Psychology Building.

*Sophists and Sages are members of the Philosophy Dialogue Class. Class discussions are open to all interested persons.

**Talk of the Times, an activity of the American Democracy Project at Texas State, is a weekly open forum on current events and issues led by members of Phi Sigma Tau, the philosophy honor society. Daily copies of The New York Times are provided near the Dialogue Room to promote informed dialogues.

Co-sponsors of the Philosophy Dialogue Series are American Democracy Project, College of Liberal Arts, Common Experience, Gina Weatherhead Dialogue Fund, The New York Times, National Endowment for the Humanities, Phi Sigma Tau, University Seminar, University Honors Program, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Division of Student Affairs.
