Camera crews have been at Texas State University’s Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Range and Training Facility this month filming for season three of S.W.A.T. Magazine TV on The Outdoor Channel. Host Rob Pincus has interviewed ALERRT’s Terry Nichols, David Burns and John Curnutt. Viewers will catch some behind-the-scenes insight into this vital active shooter response training. Season three  will begin airing in July.

The multimillion-dollar ALERRT Range Facility has grown to include a 25-yard covered pistol range with turning targets, a 350-yard rifle range, a sniper training area and a breaching area. The facility also has a one-story live fire-shoot house enclosed in a metal building, a two-story live fire-shoot house  and a brand new two-story force-on-force house with a four-story rappelling/sniper tower.

S.W.A.T. Magazine TV offers an inside look at the tactical training industry by taking you behind the scenes of law enforcement and military training, as well as looking at some the best training available in the private sector. The following video is a trailer for Season Three featuring Texas State instructors.
