Texas State Updates: Big weekend at SPJ

University Star, KTSW students
claim awards at regional competition

Texas State students at the University Star and KTSW claimed five first-place finishes at the Society for Professional Journalists Region 8 competition, announced over the weekend.

Each first-place finish advances to the national competition. Texas State also had a number of high finishes in a range of categories in the four-year colleges and universities division.
