Updates: Parking Services

Parking Services offers alternatives
for purchasing fall parking permits

Texas State University is implementing a new student information system for the fall 2011 semester. While converting to the new system, Parking Services may be temporarily unable to offer an online payment option for purchasing parking permits. (If this service is available, you will be able to login on the Parking Services website.)

In order to provide students with multiple ways to purchase parking permits while the system conversion is being completed, Parking Services is offering the following options:

  • Register your vehicle and authorize credit card payment by fax. To do this, download and print the Credit Card Authorization Form and the Vehicle Registration Form; complete both forms; and fax both forms to Parking Services at 512.245.6101 or 512.245.1645.
  • Add the charges for your on-campus parking permit to your tuition and fees account. To do this, download and print the Vehicle Registration Form only; complete the form, noting that you want your permit fee added to your tuition and fees account; and fax the form to Parking Services at 512.245.6101 or 512.245.1645.
  • If you will be living in a dorm, you can buy your permit at the Parking Services table that will be set up during Dorm Check-In August 17-18. All necessary forms will be available at the table. You do not need to fax in anything ahead of time.
  • Stop by the Parking Services office, located next to the Mathews Street Garage, to purchase your permit in person between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you have any questions, please contact Parking Services by calling 512.245.2887 or by e-mailing parking@txstate.edu.
